Homework: Theme for English B Writing Assignment

You have been given the same assignment as Langston Hughes.  Please write a page about yourself in the form of the poem.  Think of the first few lines of the poem:

                                                  Go home and write
                                                  a page tonight.
And let that page come out of you---
                                                 Then, it  will be true.

You may write the poem in your writer's notebooks or on a piece of paper first. Some students said  they'd rather have me check their work first and then post it on our blog.   Good luck!
